Job summary

Janus Global is seeking a Protective Security Specialist to provide advanced medical care and security in austere environments. Responsibilities include convoy protection, driving vehicles, and maintaining security formations for high-profile principals.

The role requires US citizenship, paramedic certification, and extensive EMS experience, with weapons qualifications and international travel as part of duty. Training is provided and security clearances apply.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required for employment.
• Active or inactive National Registry EMT-Paramedic certification required and must remain valid during deployment.
• CPR Professional Rescuer or BLS/ACLS with ILS/PHTLS or equivalent credentials required.
• Minimum three years pre‑hospital EMS experience at AEMT/paramedic level; military medical service may count if qualifies.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License required.
• U.S. Passport with at least six months validity remaining required.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Must pass pre-employment PRT.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced emergency medical care to personnel at the direction of DS/RSO.
• Perform day‑to‑day personal protective security functions.
• Drive lead/principal/follow vehicles or serve as a response agent during motorcade operations.
• Maintain protective formation positions during principal movements.
• Participate in advance security preparations.
• Staff security posts at residences or other posts as required.
