Compensation starts at $27.00 per hour with potential for nights, weekends, and holidays. Anticipated start date January 1, 2025. Applicants must meet all listed requirements and pass a background and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of armed security experience.
• Firearms training meeting state and federal requirements.
• Able to read, write and speak English.
• Physically capable of standing a 12-hour post.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Pass background and drug screening.
• Demonstrated handgun proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide security protection and access control
• Protect site property, materials, and personnel
• Prevent unauthorized access, theft, or damage
• Report and respond to unusual or emergency situations
• Control ingress and egress, including vetting contractors
• Enforce security and safety regulations
• Respond to alarms and suspicious activity
• Maintain knowledge of post orders
• Perform other duties as assigned
