Job summary

Golden SVCS, LLC is seeking a Protective Security Officer in Jackson, MS to protect federal property and employees. You will conduct patrols, control access, and respond to incidents while ensuring compliance with security regulations.

Qualifications include 21+ years old, U.S. citizenship or eligibility, and 2 years of armed security or 1 year of law enforcement experience, plus ability to obtain a secret clearance. Equal opportunity employer with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years old.
• U.S. Citizen or legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Two years of security (armed) or one year of law enforcement experience, or two years of honorable U.S. Armed Forces service.
• Must have a Social Security Card.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Able to read, speak, write, and understand English.
• Able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening.
• Able to pass background investigations including criminal, credit, and driving record checks.
• Must be able to pass the U.S. Government background investigation for the required secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Control access to client facility through the admittance process and assist visitors.
• Monitor entrances and exits and manage vehicle and pedestrian movement.
• Patrol assigned site on foot.
• Protect evidence or scenes of incidents and set up barriers and signage.
• Prepare logs or reports for post duties.
• Respond to incidents including fire, medical emergencies, bomb threats, and other conditions.
