Job summary

Golden SVCS, LLC is seeking a Protective Service Officer in Training for Alabama Statewide, based in Birmingham, with on-site duties. The program trains you to protect federal property and personnel, perform on-site tours, inspect security devices, and enforce site regulations.

After successful completion, you may be hired full-time or part-time as a Protective Security Officer. Applicants must be 21+, pass background and drug tests, hold a HS diploma or GED, have a verifiable background in

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older
• Able to pass a background check
• Must have a Social Security card
• Education: High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
• Verifiable experience: 2+ years armed security OR 2+ years military service OR completed law-enforcement training leading to appointment
• Able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening
• Able to pass a background investigation including criminal, credit and driving checks

Responsibilities

• Protect federal property and employees from theft, damage, hazards, or interference.
• Conduct periodic security tours to check protection devices and fire control equipment.
• Preserve order and enforce regulations for personnel, visitors, and premises.
• Support security operations and participate in training and certifications when offered.
