Job summary

Acuity International is seeking a qualified instructor for training U.S. contractors on weapons systems and providing refresher training. The role involves conducting classes and on-range instruction, as well as supporting protection teams when needed.

Ideal candidates must have substantial experience in protective security, teaching backgrounds, and clearances. The position entails physical readiness tests and compliance with DOS training regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Minimum two (2) years as an instructor in a security field.
• Minimum one (1) year experience as a firearms instructor.
• Five (5) years’ experience in protective security assignments, two (2) years in a supervisory capacity.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License.
• Valid U.S. Passport with more than six months before expiration.
• Proficient in English communication.
• Pass the pre-employment Physical Readiness Test (PRT).

Responsibilities

• Conduct training for WPS III personnel.
• Coordinate refresher training and firearms re-qualifications for personnel.
• Support protection teams as needed.
