Job summary

Pelican Products, Inc. is seeking anAssembler in South Deerfield, MA to assemble, inspect, and pack small to large injection molded protective cases. You will follow SOPs, perform in-line quality checks, and rotate through multiple tasks on the assembly line.

The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and precise labeling to ensure traceability. Candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be comfortable standing all shift, and be willing to cross-train across manufacturing areas.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions and manufacturing procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to safety requirements.
• Must stand for an entire shift and maintain manual dexterity.
• Willing to be cross trained across Manufacturing Cases and Component Molding.

Responsibilities

• Assembles parts according to SOPs and documents required information.
• Performs visual and in-process inspections to ensure quality.
• Packs finished product with labels for identification and traceability.
• Performs re-inspection, re-work, sorting and cleaning of plastic parts as needed.
• Rotates through different tasks on the assembly line.
• Operates fixtures and related equipment.
• Keeps work area clean and organized.
• Return equipment to storage after use.
