Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited curriculum or with NCEES FE eligibility.
• 3–5+ years of related experience in protection/ transmission.
• Strong business acumen for the utility industry.
• Leading practices for protection systems and fault analysis.

Responsibilities

• Champions a culture of safety, integrity, and operational excellence.
• Serve as SME during regulatory audits for protection systems.
• Administer disturbance reporting systems and update configurations.
• Develop and maintain transmission short circuit models and fault studies.
• Analyze disturbance records to locate faults and aid restoration.
• Prepare compliance reports for fault detection and analysis.
• Support protection setting development and system restoration efforts.
• Design monitoring systems to meet departmental objectives.
