The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking applications for the Division Chief for the Division of Prosthodontics in the College of Dental Medicine, Department of Reconstructive and Rehabilitation Sciences, at the rank of Associate Professor or Full Professor. The Chief will provide leadership for multiple clinics and oversee educational programs, reporting to the Department Chair.

Qualified candidates must hold a DDS or DMD and complete CODA-accredited prosthodontics training,

Qualificações

• Qualified candidates must hold a DDS, DMD, or equivalent dental degree and have completed a CODA-accredited prosthodontics residency program.
• Board certification or board eligible in prosthodontics is preferred.
• Candidates should demonstrate experience in dental education, educational innovation, and the integration of technology into teaching and clinical care.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, teaching experience, scholarly activity, and/or research experience are preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide academic, clinical, and administrative leadership for the Division of Prosthodontics and report to the Department Chair.
• Lead the Pre-Doctoral Digital Dentistry Clinic, Removable Prosthodontics Clinic, and Implant Prosthodontics Clinic; oversee faculty and educational activities.
• Contribute to pre-doctoral dental education and graduate programs including the Digital Dentistry Residency and AEGD Residency.
• Foster interdisciplinary collaboration to advance education, clinical care, scholarship, and innovation in digital workflows.
