The Prostate Sales Consultant drives clinical demand, education, and sales of Nubeqa and Xofigo to medical oncologists, urologists, radiation oncologists, and mid‑level healthcare professionals (NPs/PAs) within the Oncology specialty across academic and community hospitals, cancer centers, free‑standing clinics, and treatment centers in Brooklyn and Queens, NY. The role requires domiciled residency in the New York Metro area and permits up to 50% travel within the territory.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate clinical efficacy of products and articulate a compelling value proposition.
- Acquire in‑depth clinical knowledge of multiple tumor types to educate healthcare professionals on the benefits of Bayer medications.
- Build and nurture key office relationships, soliciting customer input to ensure account needs are met.
- Influence accounts by meeting customer preferences and tailoring messaging to address their goals.
- Achieve sales goals by exploring growth opportunities, removing barriers, and refining strategy based on insights.

Qualifications
- Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Experience in specialty pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical sales in oncology.
- Experience selling a product with a companion diagnostic.
- Excellent negotiation, written, and oral communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to travel, including overnight or weekend travel.
- Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills.
- Self‑motivated, passionate, and compliant with credentialing and safety requirements.
- Valid credentials for patient and reimbursement support.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in biological science or related discipline.
- Five or more years in specialty pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical sales.
- Specialty experience in oncology AND urology is strongly preferred.
- Experience with cardiovascular, diabetes, endocrine, or diagnostics sales.
- Clinical expertise in tumor types such as prostate, CRC, lung, GIST, sarcoma, and niche tumors.
- Experience selling in pediatric and adult oncology settings.
- Experience launching new products or indications.
- Experience in selling diagnostics or genomic testing.
- Relationships with academic or large oncology accounts.
- Familiarity with immunohistochemistry or next‑generation sequencing.
- Scientific background and understanding of clinical trials.
Employees can expect a base salary ranging from $143,200 to $214,800, with additional bonus or incentive compensation as applicable.
