Job summary

Prospect Airport Services is seeking individuals to join our team to operate lavatory servicing equipment and service aircraft lavatories, including waste handling and refilling fluids. The role offers comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance for full-time staff, plus voluntary AFLAC coverages, travel discounts, and PTO based on location.

Responsibilities include operating equipment, ensuring availability and maintenance, safe completion of duties, and reporting safety incidents.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a Driving License and be able to obtain credentials required as per airport/state requirements.
• Must be able to obtain credentials required for driving lavatory service vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Operate the lavatory equipment.
• Ensure timely availability of lavatory equipment, including fueling and maintenance.
• Service aircraft lavatories by emptying waste receptacles.
• Use lavatory and sanitary water equipment to empty, flush and fill aircraft systems.
• Follow environmental procedures while emptying waste trucks and fueling the same.
• Clean aircraft lavatories and empty waste receptacles.
• Complete work in a safe and secure manner, following company safety and operational standards.
• Immediately report safety and security incidents as well as potential hazards per company policy.
• Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill, experience, and capabilities.

Job Summary:

Responsible for operating lavatory servicing equipment, servicing of aircraft lavatories. This includes unloading lavatory waste, cleaning the lavatory system, and refilling the lavatory fluid.

Physical requirements:

• Must be able to constantly push, pull up to 70 lbs, walk, stand, reach above shoulder, stoop, squat, kneel, and bend. Will have to occasionally lift, move and carry: weights up to 70lbs, climb and crawl.

Working conditions:

• Must be able to work in rotating shifts and hours, nights, weekends and holidays, overtime.
• Must be able and open to work in outside weather conditions which may include severe seasonal elements.
