Prospect International Airport Services is hiring for a full-time, non-exempt role on the PM shift at our Detroit-area airport operations. Base pay is $18.25 per hour, with benefits for full-time staff including medical, dental, vision, and voluntary coverage.

The position involves assigning agents to flights, maintaining control room equipment, and managing Avtech devices for tracking and research. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, be at least 18, and be able to obtain

Responsibilities

• Assign Agents to flights or other locations in the airport and maintain the control room environment and related devices.
• Distribute Avtech devices for passenger tracking and research; perform daily inventory and report discrepancies.
• Troubleshoot devices and ensure they are charged and functional; maintain time clocks and provide access to the Control Room.
• Complete work safely and in line with company standards; report safety incidents and hazards.

Job Summary:

Responsible for assigning Agents to the flights or other location in the airport. Also responsible for maintaining the control room environment, timeclock, inventory records, distribution, and maintenance of Avtech devices.

Job Duties:

• Ensure that the team members are assigned activities for safe on time arrivals and departures.
• Distribute to all team members Avtech devices for passenger tracking and research.
• Perform daily inventory of devices, ensure all devices are accounted for and report any discrepancies.
• Troubleshoot devices that are not properly functioning and report out of service devices.
• Ensure all devices are always adequately charged.
• Ensure time clocks are operable and escalation any related issues.
• Provide right of access to the Control Room.
• Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected for this position.
• Complete work in a safe and secure manner, following company safety and operational standards
• Immediately report safety and security incidents as well as potential hazards in line with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.

Physical requirements:

• Must be able to constantly lift, move up to 70 lbs; Frequently lift, move weights greater than 70 lbs; and constantly walk, stand, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel and bend.

Working conditions:

• Must be able to work in rotating shifts and hours, nights, weekends and holidays, overtime.
• Must be able and open to work in outside weather conditions which may include severe seasonal elements.
• Must be able to work in an office bound environment.
