Impulse Space is seeking a Propulsion Test Engineering Intern in Mojave for Summer 2027. You will design and build test systems supporting liquid rocket propulsion, working closely with a fast-paced team to advance spaceflight hardware from concept to test readiness.
Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor's in Engineering or Science with hands-on experience in fluid/mechanical systems and a willingness to work on-site in Mojave, CA. Overtime may be required with eligible pay.

As a Propulsion Test Engineering Intern, you will work on all aspects of propulsion test equipment while working closely with a fast‑paced, agile team that strives to make a high-performance spacecraft from a clean sheet design.
Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case‑by‑case basis and may vary based on job‑related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity. In addition to base salary, for full‑time hires, you may also be eligible for long‑term incentives, in the form of stock options, and access to medical, vision & dental coverage as well as access to a 401(k) retirement plan.
