Job summary

You will collaborate with the Chemical Propulsion Systems Group (353C), translate complex results for multidisciplinary teams, and help deliver flight hardware with rigorous documentation.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to perform propulsion analyses and data reduction.
• Strong fundamentals in fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and propulsion.
• Experience with hand calculations and Excel-style analyses.

Responsibilities

• Perform spacecraft propulsion subsystem analyses (flow, sizing, blowdown, waterhammer).
• Update and improve analysis tools and models.
• Generate docs and user manuals for analysis tools.
• Develop ground tests to validate models and analyze data.
• Collaborate with propulsion team for peer checks and design inputs.
• Communicate methodology and results to team and management.
• Support propulsion hardware deliveries and vendor interfaces.
• Assist propulsion system assembly, integration and test.
