Job summary

Boeing at Kennedy Space Center, FL is seeking an engineer to define requirements and design propulsion components for cryogenic and other propellants, ensuring interfaces and performance criteria are met. This onsite role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams across lifecycle stages.

You will lead or support refurbishment, integration and test activities, evaluate fielded components for reliability, and coordinate with SMEs and IPT members to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
• Minimum 3+ years of related work experience.
• Experience in rocket propulsion and aerospace systems.

Responsibilities

• Define requirements for propulsion system components used in rocket systems.
• Coordinate interfaces between propulsion components within the system.
• Design propulsion components to meet subsystem criteria and justify design decisions.
• Support qualification testing and certification activities.
• Lead or support refurbishment, integration, test, launch, and recovery operations.
• Review SDRL items and engineering drawings for compliance.
• Coordinate work scope with other engineers.
