Job Summary:
Our client in Troy, MI is seeking a Propulsion System Diagnostic Software Validation Engineer for a contract position.
What you will do:
The Propulsion System Diagnostic Software Validation Engineer will develop test specifications, execute diagnostic testing for propulsion system ECUs (VCU, BMS, EDM, OBC, DCDC converter), and collaborate with software, electrical, and propulsion teams to validate diagnostics. Responsibilities include generating test cases, analyzing results, developing automation, and participating in Agile processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer Software, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
- At least five years’ experience in test development, automation, and reporting using systems modeling platforms.
- Experience with low and high voltage systems, vehicle control systems, CAN protocols, scripting languages, and industry standards.
- Strong communication and team skills.
