Job summary

G-TECH Services LLC seeks an on-site Propulsion/Powertrain Project Manager at Sterling Heights Assembly Plant to lead propulsion readiness from early builds through production. You will coordinate hardware, software, and calibrations while driving rapid issue resolution with cross-functional teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field and 8+ years of automotive experience.

Qualifications

• Oversee part sign-offs, plant flash-station integration, and PER activities.
• Drive timely resolution of RMS and TEQ issues.
• Align with production control, MLM, and on-site engineering resources.

We are seeking an on-site Propulsion/Powertrain Project Manager to lead propulsion systems technical operations at our Sterling Heights Assembly Plant. In this role, you will own propulsion readiness from early execution builds through full production, ensuring seamless integration of hardware, software, and calibrations while driving rapid issue resolution across cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Integrate propulsion hardware, software, and calibrations into plant operations.
• Lead rapid triage and problem-solving for plant-based propulsion issues.
• Represent propulsion at quality gates, rolls testing, end-of-line (EOL) activities, and audits.
• Oversee part sign-offs, plant flash-station integration, and PER activities.
• Drive timely resolution of RMS and TEQ issues.
• Align closely with production control, MLM, and on-site engineering resources.

Qualifications

• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience) with 8+ years of relevant automotive experience.
• Core Skills: Strong knowledge of vehicle integration, release processes, and structured problem-solving.
• Communication: Excellent organizational, decision-making, and communication skills for a fast-paced plant environment.
• Work Arrangement: Must be able to work on-site at SHAP and support flexible hours during launches or critical builds.
