Wild West Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer specialized in propulsion test systems. You will design and support ballistic test setups, fixtures, and test rigs, perform CAD modeling, and develop propulsion characterization plans.
You will also configure instrumentation and DAQ systems, conduct static thrust tests, and analyze data to generate reports while ensuring compliance with safety and ITAR requirements.

ITAR REQUIREMENT: To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
The role requires designing, building, and supporting propulsion and ballistic test setups, fixtures, and test rigs. Other responsibilities include assisting with CAD modeling, fixture design, and mechanical updates. We would also expect someone to develop propulsion characterization and static test plans.
