Northrop Grumman is seeking a Propulsion Engineer (Level 2/3) in Chandler, AZ. You will perform analysis, design, and testing of propulsion components, interface with customers and suppliers, and contribute to trade studies and design reviews.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 2 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master’s with 0 years (Level 2).
Ability to obtain a US Government Secret Security clearance.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for presentations to large customer community.
Ability to solve problems and drive tasks to completion.
Ability to travel 10%.

Responsabilités

Perform analysis, design, and test of ordnance, pneumatics, and motor components.
Analyze requirements for materials, structural components, or functional systems.
Develop concepts and evaluate designs with teams; modify to optimize design.
Create component drawings and specifications for flight components.
Interface with internal/external customers and suppliers to optimize solutions.
Perform complex engineering design, development and analysis of propulsion components and systems.
Conduct trade studies and evaluate alternative designs.
Anticipate customer needs and provide innovative solutions.
Develop and present materials for project briefings.
