Job summary

Emerson's Proposals Engineer - Hydro role focuses on creating competitive and strategic proposals for North America renewable energy control systems, with a primary focus on hydroelectric power. You will architect solutions from technical and commercial perspectives, including written proposals and cost estimates, supporting our Power and Water Solutions business.

The position can be located in our Blue Bell, PA, Cranberry Township, PA, Amherst, WI, or Novi, MI offices, and requires up to 10%

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM field, or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience.
• Experience with control systems (PLC/DCS/SCADA).
• Experience in the hydroelectric, solar, battery storage (BESS), and/or wind industries.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

As a Proposals Engineer - Hydro , you will lead the creation of highly competitive and strategic proposals for North America renewable energy control systems, with a primary focus in hydroelectric power . You will have accountability to architect solutions from both a technical and commercial perspective, encompassing written proposals and accompanying cost estimates. This role will be supporting our Power and Water Solutions business.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering is preferred
