Job summary

ASRC Industrial Services (AIS) seeks an experienced Proposal Manager to lead federal proposals from our Strategic Proposal Center. The role is on-site at a corporate office, preferably Tempe, AZ, with remote consideration for highly qualified candidates. You will drive planning, strategy, compliance, and tight-deadline delivery.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in proposal centers, strong writing skills, and familiarity with federal procurement lifecycles. Travel may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 10 years experience working with a Proposal Centers.
• Experience with federal government procurement process and managing large, complex proposals.
• Solid understanding of federal RFP structures and compliance requirements.
• Experience using proposal management and collaboration tools.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
• Willingness and ability to travel.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Proposal Manager to be on-site at one of our corporate offices, preferably in Oak Ridge, TN; Tempe, AZ; or Albuquerque, NM. Remote work will be considered for highly qualified candidates. Who brings a proven track record of leading winning federal proposals, ideally in the nuclear, environmental, construction, or industrial markets, to join our Strategic Proposal Center and lead proposals across our network of companies.

The Work You'll Be Responsible For:

• Proposal Planning and Management

The Ideal Candidate:

• Will be in the Proposal Management team who supports similar company with similar projects and scope of work. (Construction, environmental, ext.)
• Will be comfortable with operating in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment and may occasionally require extended hours or weekend work during peak proposal periods.
• Has a strong understanding of federal government contracting and the federal government's procurement lifecycle
• Excels at managing the proposal process and writing compelling narrative
• Has a basic understanding of cost and pricing methodologies
• Is motivated to be a part of a rapidly changing and growing environment
• Is self‑motivated and comfortable working independently to lead pursuits or being a team member and proposal contributor

What You'll Need To Have;

• Bachelor's degree in related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience working with a Proposal Centers;
  • Proposal experience with the federal government procurement process and managing large, complex proposals for the federal government and or state agencies.
  • Solid understanding of federal RFP structures and compliance requirements
• Experience using proposal management and collaboration tools
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat Professional
• Must be willing and able to travel

• Critical thinking skills with ability to read, understand, and communicate technical requirements
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with senior leaders, capture managers, subject matter experts, proposal support teams, and teaming partners/subcontractors
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in grammar, punctuation, and spelling
• Skilled in managing multiple assignments with varying degrees of complexity and competing deadlines
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Has an ownership mentality and is accountable for compliance
• Interpret and manage government solicitation requirements
• Adaptability to changing priorities

Ideally You’ll Have;

• Certification or training in Shipley process, APMP, -, or other relevant organization is highly desired
