You will collaborate across BD and Operations, ensuring high-quality content and timely delivery, with opportunities to influence strategic outcomes and grow with the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or related field.
• Typically 9+ years of proven experience in proposal management or business development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and proposal management tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end proposal development process from RFP analysis to submission.
• Coordinate with subject matter experts, writers, and contributors to gather content.
• Provide leadership and direction to managers or professional staff.
• Develop and maintain proposal schedules, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Identify and allocate resources to meet proposal requirements.
• Write, edit, and review proposal content for clarity and compliance.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to translate complex information.
• Conduct thorough reviews to ensure high quality and competitive proposals.

Proposal Leadership

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end proposal development process, from initial RFP analysis to submission.
• Coordinate with subject matter experts, writers, and contributors to gather necessary information for proposal content.
• Provides leadership and direction to managers or professional staff.

Proposal Planning And Scheduling

• Develop and maintain proposal schedules, ensuring adherence to deadlines.
• Identify and allocate resources effectively to meet proposal requirements.

Content Development

• Write, edit, and review proposal content for clarity, consistency, and compliance with client requirements.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to translate complex information into compelling proposals.

Quality Assurance

• Conduct thorough reviews to ensure proposals meet the highest quality standards.
• Implement best practices in proposal development to enhance overall quality and competitiveness.

Engagement With Business Development And Operations

• Interact with BD and Operations personnel to clarify requirements and address queries during the proposal development process.
• Foster positive relationships across teams through professional and effective communication.

Knowledge Management

• Contribute to maintaining a repository of proposal content, templates, and reusable materials to streamline future proposal development.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or a related field.
• Typically 9+ years of proven experience in proposal management, business development, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and proposal management tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business, Communications, or a related field.
• Professional certifications in proposal management and/or project management.
• Experience in a similar industry or with complex technical proposals.
• Familiarity with government contracting processes.
• Demonstrated success in winning competitive proposals.
• Current security clearance.
