Job summary

Michels Power, Inc., is seeking a Proposal Coordinator to support project managers and estimators by staying informed of bid needs and ensuring terms and conditions are met. You will maintain detailed bids and files and help prepare, review, and submit bids, contracts, RFIs and reports.

This role emphasizes organization, teamwork and adherence to company policies, with opportunities to contribute to major electrical infrastructure projects nationwide.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Associate's or Bachelor's degree and 2+ years in related field.
• Experience with proposal processes and bids in construction industry.
• Ability to analyze RFP requirements for compliance and deadlines.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Ability to foster relationships and work collaboratively in a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

As a Proposal Coordinator, you will effectively communicate with Project Managers and Estimators to stay informed of project needs while helping satisfy the terms and conditions of bids and contracts with the customer. Maintain detailed and organized bids and job files. Assist with the preparation, review and submittal of bids, contracts, RFIs and reports in accordance with division and company policies and procedures.

What it takes:

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree, 2+ years experience in related field
• Experience or familiarity with proposal processes, as well as an exposure to the construction industry
• Analyzing RFP requirements to ensure compliance with submission guidelines and deadlines
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
• Ability to foster relationships and work collaboratively in a teamwork manner
