Job summary

ITC Tax is hiring a Property Tax Consultant to serve a portfolio of industrial and commercial properties across Houston, Austin, and Dallas. You will analyze assessments, apply valuation methods, and oversee the appeal process with appraisal districts and clients.

Join a team with experienced CMIs and former appraisers, focusing on accurate renditions, compliance, and strategic tax reductions. Travel locally and regionally is required, with a flexible work arrangement in a hybrid model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• 3+ years of property tax consulting/assessment experience.
• Experience with property tax compliance and management platforms; advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client data and evidence to identify reduction opportunities.
• Apply valuation approaches and account for obsolescence on assets.
• Prepare and defend appeals; manage hearings through resolution.
• Prepare accurate renditions and compliance filings.
• Classify real vs business personal property and flag misclassifications.
• Conduct site inspections and understand client operations.
• Manage deadlines across jurisdictions and communicate with clients and authorities.
