Responsibilities

• Draft, file, and manage complaints and briefs for property tax appeals.
• Analyze assessment records and documentation to develop appeal strategies.
• Manage tax appeals for complex real estate projects, including new construction and rehabilitation.
• Coordinate with county officials on hearings, settlements, and refunds.
• Support tax incentive programs such as Class 6b, Class 7, Class 8, and TIF.
• Maintain appeal dockets and client communications.
• Participate in Continuing Legal Education (CLE) programs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
