Job summary

Associated Services Inspections, Ltd. is seeking a Loss Control Field Inspector to perform on-site evaluations of commercial, residential, and agricultural properties.

You will review requirements, schedule inspections with clients, and capture detailed risk information with photos and measurements. The role involves using online reporting tools (Loss Control 360 with Rapid Sketch) and reporting back with comprehensive narratives.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of commercial insurance loss control inspection experience.
• Knowledge of commercial property, general liability, and workers’ compensation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel within a 50-mile radius.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Comfortable with online reporting systems and document uploads.

Responsibilities

• Receive assignments electronically and review all inspection requirements.
• Contact the insured via phone, email, or text to schedule appointments.
• Conduct on-site evaluations of commercial, residential, or agricultural properties, assessing building systems, fire protection, maintenance, and risk factors.
• Capture typically 20–35 interior and exterior photos per structure.
• Take measurements using a measuring wheel, laser, or satellite measurements.
• Interview the insured regarding operations, building system ages, and risk details.
• Update inspection status through ASI’s online platform.
• Complete reports using Loss Control 360 with Rapid Sketch, including checklists, narratives, and digital photos.
