Job summary

Associated Services Inspections seeks a Loss Control Field Inspector to perform on-site evaluations of commercial, residential, and agricultural properties, reviewing requirements and coordinating schedules with insured parties.

You will assess building systems, life safety, maintenance, and risk factors, capturing 20–35 photos per site and taking precise measurements. Proficiency with Loss Control 360 and Rapid Sketch is valuable.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of commercial insurance loss control inspection experience.
• Knowledge of Commercial property, General liability, and Workers’ compensation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel within a 50-mile radius; independent work capability.
• Comfortable with online reporting systems and document uploads.
• Experience with Loss Control 360 and Rapid Sketch.

Responsibilities

• Receive assignments electronically and review inspection requirements.
• Contact the insured via phone, email, or text to schedule appointments.
• Conduct on-site evaluations of commercial, residential, or agricultural properties, assessing: Building systems, Fire protection and life safety, Maintenance and housekeeping, General liability exposures, Property conditions and risk factors.
• Capture typically 20–35 interior and exterior photos per structure.
• Take measurements using a measuring wheel, laser, or satellite measurements.
• Interview the insured regarding operations, building system ages, and risk-related details.
• Update inspection status through ASI’s online platform.
• Complete reports using Loss Control 360 with Rapid Sketch, including checklists, narratives, and digital photos.
