Job summary

Associated Services Inspections is hiring a Loss Control Field Inspector in the Houston area to conduct on‑site evaluations of commercial, residential, and agricultural properties. You will review requirements, schedule appointments, and capture detailed observations with photos and measurements, using Loss Control 360 and Rapid Sketch for reporting.

The role requires 3–5 years of loss control experience, knowledge of property, liability, and workers' compensation risks, and strong communication

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of commercial insurance loss control inspection experience.
• Knowledge of commercial property, general liability and workers' compensation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel within a 50‑mile radius and manage time independently.
• Comfortable with online reporting systems and document uploads.

Responsibilities

• Receive assignments electronically and review inspection requirements.
• Contact insured to schedule appointments by phone, email, or text.
• Conduct on‑site evaluations of commercial, residential, or agricultural properties.
• Assess building systems, fire protection, life safety, maintenance, and liability exposures.
• Capture 20–35 interior and exterior photos per structure.
• Take measurements using measuring wheel, laser, or satellite methods.
• Interview insured about operations and risk details; update status via online platform.
• Complete reports using Loss Control 360 with Rapid Sketch, including checklists and narratives.
