Job summary

CAPREIT Apartments is seeking a Property Manager to lead leasing, resident relations and on-site operations across our Canadian communities. You will drive leasing targets, oversee maintenance and administration, and champion excellent resident experiences through strong leadership and problem solving.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in leasing or property management, 1 year in a supervisor role, and proficiency with MS Office. SAP is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in leasing, property management or related field.
• 1 year in a supervisor capacity in property management.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient with MS Office; SAP knowledge is an asset.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Resident Ambassador: build relationships and resolve concerns to maintain resident satisfaction.
• Leasing Champion: manage the leasing process from inquiry to onboarding and monitor vacancies.
• Operations Guru: oversee property staff, services, payments, inspections and moves.

About the Property Manager opportunity:

Resident Ambassador:

As our frontline lead, build strong relationships and deliver excellence by addressing concerns to maintain resident satisfaction.

Leasing Champion:

Oversee the leasing process from initial inquiry to onboarding of new resident. Proactively monitor vacancies and achieve leasing targets.

Operations Guru:

Manage our property people, administration of services, collect payments, inspect the property and facilitate resident moves.

What you need to succeed:

• 3 years’ experience in leasing, property management or related field.
• 1 year in a supervisor capacity in property management.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient with MS Office. SAP knowledge is an asset.
• Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends when needed to meet business requirements.
• Proven ability to address concerns and achieve performance targets.
• Strong problem-solver with effective negotiation skills.
• Detailed-oriented with proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

What’s in it for you?

• Competitive Base Salary starting between $60,000 - $62,000
