Job summary

BrightPath Kids in the Cincinnati Metro Area seeks a proactive Facilities Maintenance professional for multi-site upkeep, light construction, and repair tasks across up to 15 locations. You will handle plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, flooring, pest control and appliance troubleshooting, while coordinating with vendors and managing work orders.

The role emphasizes a strong focus on customer service, written and verbal communication, and the ability to stay current with best practices.

Responsibilities

• Total site maintenance and management of up to 15 locations.
• Light construction and/or maintenance (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, flooring, pest control).
• Troubleshoot and repair small appliances (refrigerators, dishwashers).
• Maintain exterior spaces and vendor relationships (playgrounds).
• Process work orders and monitor internal requests.
• Manage vendor performance and monitor contractual obligations.
• Support centers through audits, regulatory visits, initiatives and compliance.

What will you be doing?

• Total site(s) maintenance and management of up to 15 locations
• Light construction and/or maintenance to include, but not limited to: construction, carpentry, plumbing (most common), electrical, painting, flooring, pest treatment, and other general repairs
• Small appliance troubleshooting and repair (refrigerators, dishwashers, etc.)
• Exterior space maintenance and vendor management, including playgrounds
• Work order management system for internal requests
• Maintain relationships with 3rd party vendors and manage their performance
• Monitor contractual obligations
• Support the centers through Audits, Regulatory Visits, Initiatives, Compliance violations, Fleet Compliance, etc.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 2+ years of relevant experience required
• Proficient in facilities disciplines and total site responsibilities
• Budget-mindedand customer service oriented
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
