DHI Communities, a division of D.R. Horton, is seeking a Groundskeeper - PM. Responsibilities include general maintenance, maintaining cleanliness of community areas, assisting with repairs, and supporting community upkeep.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities, including trash removal, pressure-washing, cleaning, and painting.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of exterior steps and stair towers.
• Prepare vacant units for occupancy, including cleaning.
• Inspect building exteriors and lighting, report repairs.
• Provide maintenance support for HVAC, electrical, and utility systems.
• Follow safety and environmental policies.
• Perform groundskeeping duties such as trash pickup, blowing sidewalks, and debris removal.
• Clean dumpster areas and breezeways.
• Assist with pool maintenance and make-ready units.
• Complete work orders and communicate effectively with support teams.
• Remove snow and salt as needed.
• Adhere to professional and ethical standards.
• Work overtime if required.

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or GED
• 0-3 years groundskeeping/maintenance experience
• Knowledge of tools and maintenance processes
• Basic troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently
• Proficiency in MS Office and email
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in various weather conditions
