Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician in Nashville to perform routine and preventive maintenance across the property, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and overall functionality. You will handle work orders, make-ready tasks for leases, and maintain inventory while coordinating with vendors as needed.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, state/local licenses, and a valid driver’s license. It includes on-site duties with a rotating on-call schedule and a strong focus on safety and

Qualifications

  • EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling (applies to technicians).
  • All state and local jurisdiction certifications must be held.
  • Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property where applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Performs routine and preventative maintenance to meet property standards.
  • Completes make-ready tasks for vacant apartments and inspects completed work.
  • Tracks inventory, accesses materials from the maintenance department, and notifies supervisors of re-orders.
  • Documents service requests accurately for timely record-keeping.
  • Assists in maintaining grounds and common areas and participates in safety meetings.
