About The Role

We are seeking a skilled professional with hands‑on expertise in all aspects of residential maintenance repair and service. As a member of our team, you will help ensure our properties remain in top‑notch condition, maintaining high standards of customer service and support that Enclave is known for.

Position Logistics
  • Primary Work Location: Various multifamily (apartments) properties across the Fargo – Moorhead area
  • Work Environment: On‑Site
  • Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, standard hours with a rotating on‑call schedule every 8–12 weeks (hourly pay and bonus eligible for on‑call hours)
  • Work Type: Full Time (40 hours/week)
  • Special Considerations: Evergreen posting – continuously accepting applications to support ongoing growth and evolving team needs
Position Responsibilities
  • Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facilities to prevent breakdowns. Lubricate, clean, and adjust machines as necessary. Replace worn or damaged parts to avoid failure.
  • Repairs and Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues. Perform repairs on malfunctioning equipment and systems. Coordinate with vendors for complex issues.
  • Equipment Installation and Setup: Install new machinery, equipment, or systems per specifications and safety guidelines. Test equipment post‑installation to ensure proper functioning.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety standards and regulations. Maintain compliance with environmental, health, and safety protocols. Use proper tools and equipment to minimize hazards.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, parts used, and inspections. Report issues and inventory needs to supervisors.
  • Collaboration and Support: Work closely with maintenance personnel, engineers, and facility managers to improve equipment reliability. Provide technical support to other departments and team members.
Qualifications
Property Maintenance Technician I
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
  • Prior experience in property, factory, hotel maintenance, or a related trade such as carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, drywall, or concrete preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and appliance repair
Property Maintenance Technician II
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
  • Hours of relevant experience: 2+ years in property maintenance or related trade
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred
  • Intermediate knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and appliance repair
Property Maintenance Technician III
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
  • Hours of relevant experience: 4+ years in property maintenance or related trade
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and appliance repair
