Job summary

John M. Corcoran & Company in Andover, MA is seeking a trustworthy Maintenance Technician to preserve the physical condition of one of our properties. You’ll handle routine repairs, painting, fixtures, and minor cosmetic updates, while coordinating with contractors and managing invoices.

Key duties include responding to daily maintenance requests, emergency fixes, safety improvements, and on-call coverage Monday–Friday 8:00 am–4:30 pm with an on-call rotation. Salary range $29–$33 USD/hr.

Qualifications

• 6 months+ of trade experience or building maintenance.
• Working knowledge of equipment for repairs including electrical and mechanical systems.
• You love fixing things and making spaces better for occupants, with readiness in high-stress situations.
• Ability to identify safety concerns and solve them.
• Specialized trade experience in plumbing, electrical, roofing, or HVAC is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily maintenance requests professionally and expediently.
• Remain ready for emergency maintenance needs and on-call requirements.
• Make repairs to doors, locks, tiles, and handrails.
• Monitor and coordinate with outside contractors and suppliers.
• Maintain paperwork and invoices related to work.
