Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities seeks a dependable Property Maintenance Technician to keep our community safe, attractive, and well-maintained for residents and families. The role covers preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and cosmetic upkeep to promote a welcoming living environment.

You will respond to work orders, support grounds maintenance, and collaborate with team members to deliver consistent, quality service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain building systems and equipment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on building systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment and building systems as needed.
• Complete work orders accurately and on time.
• Maintain community grounds and common areas to ensure safety and curb appeal.
• Support a comfortable living environment for residents and staff.
• Work occasional evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as needed.

We're looking for a dependable, skilled, and service-minded Property Maintenance Technician to help ensure our community remains safe, attractive, and well-maintained for residents, families, and team members.

In this role, you will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and repair equipment and building systems, complete work orders, maintain community grounds, and support a comfortable living environment that enhances the quality of life for our residents. Your work will play an important role in creating a safe, welcoming community where residents can feel at home.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous maintenance, facilities, construction, property management, or related experience preferred
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general building maintenance
• Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain building systems and equipment
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Knowledge of safe work practices and proper use of maintenance tools and equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to safely perform physical tasks, including lifting, carrying, bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods
• Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as needed
