Job summary

Cardinal is seeking a Maintenance Team Leader in San Marcos, TX, to oversee upkeep of the community, manage maintenance staff, and ensure high-quality living spaces for residents.

The role requires hands-on maintenance skills, strong customer service, and safety awareness. Daily tasks include coordinating repairs, keeping common areas pristine, and supporting apartment turnovers while upholding Cardinal standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant industry experience; property management experience is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail.
• Basic maintenance skills and pool service knowledge required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain curb appeal by keeping grounds and buildings clean.
• Assist with basic repairs and routine maintenance tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service and teamwork at all times.
• Keep clubhouse, offices, model, hallways and common areas clean and safe.
• Ensure property is free of trash and debris; maintain landscaping.
