Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of Leasing or Assistant Property Manager experience.
• Yardi experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word & Excel; able to use internet and social media for marketing the property.

Responsibilities

• Actively solicit business to achieve occupancy and rental goals for the property.
• Respond to inquiries, leads and tours to market the property.
• Lead property tours for prospective residents and showcase amenities.
• Set standards for staff engagement with residents and applicants.
• Assist in staff training and model effective sales techniques daily.
• Lead rent collection efforts and address delinquent accounts as needed.
• Assist in managing the property budget to improve net operating income.
• Maintain accuracy of resident ledgers and files.
• Inspect units during move-in/move-out and audit the community.
• Fill in as acting Property Manager when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
