Starr Insurance Companies seeks an organized underwriting support professional in Los Angeles, CA. You will set up new and renewal files, process premiums, and maintain policy data across SPARC, RMS, and Salesforce, while collaborating with Head Office teams to ensure accuracy and timely service.

The role emphasizes data entry speed, attention to detail, and strong communication within a team to support underwriting workflows for commercial insurance clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years relevant experience in a Property Insurance company.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Outlook, Excel.
• Accuracy and speed in data entry and typing tasks.
• Strong problem solving, analytical and detail orientation.

Responsabilités

• Support all phases of underwriting processes.
• Set up new and renewal business files.
• Clerical/admin support for the Safety & Loss Control department.
• Enter policy data into Starr platforms (SPARC, RMS, Salesforce).
• Process premium billing for policies and endorsements.
• Set up reinsurance certificates in the electronic system.
• Communicate with Head Office departments as needed.
• Ensure timely data entry and file integrity.
