Job summary

Breezy Point Resort is seeking a Property Ground Maintenance Laborer to join our team. You will complete work orders, maintain gardens and outdoor landscapes, prune and weed, and keep outdoor areas tidy.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm, with a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, PTO and resort discounts. Applicants should have some lawn care experience, be able to operate landscape tools safely, and follow OSHA procedures to maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to complete work orders in a timely fashion.
• Must have some experience in lawn care and landscaping.
• Knowledge of plants and landscape maintenance.
• Follows OSHA safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and maintain gardens and outdoor landscapes.
• Ensure cleanliness of outdoor facilities, pruning, weeding, and landscape upkeep.
• Maintain area landscapes and supervise irrigation checks as needed.

Breezy Point Resort has an immediate opening for a Property Ground Maintenance Laborer to join our team!! You will be responsible for completing work orders, maintaining the gardens, and outdoor landscapes. You will ensure the cleanliness of outdoor facilities, pruning, weeding and maintaining area landscapes. Hours are Monday - Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm. Requirements

• Landscapes and maintains grounds


• Performs scheduled trimming, light lawn mowing, weeding, tree & shrub pruning, repair and reseeding of damaged lawn areas


• Plants and maintains trees, shrubs and flowers


• Rakes and disposes of leaves and other yard waste


• Keeps grounds free of litter


• Maintains pump houses and water softeners and performs routine checks on the irrigation systems


• Interacts with homeowners, HOA Community Managers and the Association of the Board of Directors


• Responsible for overall maintenance and physical appearance of our clients' HOA communities


• Must complete work orders in a timely fashion


• Must have some experience in lawn care and landscaping


• Knowledge of plants, and maintenance of landscapes


• Follows all proper safety procedures as established by OSHA and maintains a safe work environment

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license


• Ability to handle a physical workload


• Must be willing to pass a background screening


• Be familiar with tools and equipment to perform the work for this job


• Must be a self starter, work independently, detail orientated
