Accounting Search in Florida is seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee the general ledger activities, maintain fixed asset ledgers, and perform CAM reconciliations in line with lease agreements.

You will prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements, support audits, participate in annual budgeting and forecasting, and help develop new accounting policies to keep the corporate finance team compliant with evolving standards.

Responsabilités

• Oversee day-to-day general ledger activities and record journal entries with other teams.
• Maintain fixed asset ledgers in FAS software, including depreciation calculations.
• Prepare annual billings and CAM reconciliations per tenant lease agreements.
• Prepare and review monthly and quarterly financial statements and budgets.
• Ensure reports reflect corporate and head office transactions accurately.
• Review financial data to ensure accuracy and integrity of reporting.
• Prepare and review monthly/quarterly reconciliations and assist with regulatory filings.
• Investigate discrepancies and resolve issues with relevant personnel.
• Support quarterly and annual audits by compiling workpapers and financial statements.
• Assist with annual budgets and forecasts for property managers and accounting managers.
• Help develop and implement new accounting policies and processes.
• Ensure compliance with current accounting standards and upcoming regulatory changes.
