Job summary

Viking Partners Management, Inc. is seeking a Property Accountant in Cincinnati, OH to lead full-cycle accounting for a multi-property portfolio.

The role partners with Asset Management and Property Management to deliver accurate financials, budgeting, and variance analyses. The ideal candidate has CRE accounting experience, strong Excel and MRI Software skills, and can work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
• CPA designation or active pursuit of CPA licensure a plus.
• 3+ years of property accounting experience in a CRE environment.
• Experience with full-cycle accounting, month-end close, and financial reporting for a multi-property portfolio a plus.
• Hands-on experience preparing CAM reconciliations, annual budgets, and audit support packages.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary accounting contact for all properties in the portfolio, supporting Asset Management and Property Management.
• Perform full month-end close procedures, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Prepare and review property-level financial reports (income statements, balance sheets, variances).
• Manage bank reconciliations, cash positions, and rent/CAM reconciliations.
• Support audits, CAM reconciliations, budgets, and forecasting with cross-functional teams.
