Job summary

Butch’s Propane LLC is seeking an experienced Propane Driver to operate a GVW of 26,000+ pounds and deliver propane to residential and commercial customers in Texas. This full-time role requires a Class A CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements, adherence to safety procedures, and accurate delivery paperwork.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip checks, log maintenance, loading/unloading, communicating with dispatch, and providing excellent customer service while maintaining regulatory

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three years related experience in the field.
• Class A CDL with HAZMAT and TANKER endorsements required.

Responsibilities

• Drive a GVW 26,000+ lb propane truck delivering to customers.
• Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and DVIRs.
• Maintain logs of hours and vehicle status per regulations.
• Load/unload propane, obtain receipts, and collect payment when applicable.
• Communicate with Dispatch and follow delivery routes.
• Use tablets/apps to exchange information with dispatch and drivers.
• Ensure safety procedures for transporting hazardous materials.
