Job summary

Dead River Company seeks a Boom Truck Operator to service, install and repair propane tanks and LP piping. You will perform safety tests, hookups, and deliveries while promoting company products and maintaining a tidy vehicle.

The role requires CDL B with hazmat, CETP certification and at least 1 year of related experience. On-call work and variable conditions are expected in this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as service tech or delivery driver.
• Appropriate CETP certification or state LP service license, or ability to obtain.
• CDL B with hazmat endorsement required.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety tests, tank hookups, evacuations and inspections per codes and Dead River policies.
• Deliver heating oil and propane safely in accordance with regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized vehicle and ensure tools are in good condition.
• Advise customers on best options and promote company products.
• On-call and overtime may be required to meet demand.
