Job summary

GROWMARK FS in Centreville, MD is seeking a propane systems installer/maintenance technician. You will install and maintain liquid gas systems for customers and the company, schedule cost-effective service, and ensure equipment is safe and compliant.

You’ll conduct pressure and leak tests, keep accurate records, and use Office and proprietary software for orders and scheduling. Responsibilities extend to other areas of the business as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1–2 years related propane system experience.
• Above ground tank installation certification.
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
• CDL driver’s license preferred.
• Willingness to work hours outside normal schedule.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain customer and company liquid gas systems.
• Schedule cost-effective maintenance and repair activities.
• Maintain department equipment and vehicles for safe operation.
• Perform pressure tests and leak tests on systems.
• Keep records of regulators and changes; maintain tanks and equipment.
• Use Microsoft Office and proprietary software for orders, scheduling, inventory and communications.
• Work in other areas of the business, including Agronomy teams, as needed.
• Comply with safety, environmental, OSHA, and DOT policies.
