Job summary

Ergon Inc. in Gadsden, AL is seeking a Propane Service Technician to install, maintain and repair propane systems and appliances while ensuring safety and code compliance. You will assist customers, perform leak checks, and support deliveries as needed.

Role requires CDL with Hazmat & Tanker or willingness to obtain, clean driving record, and ability to lift 60+ lbs in all weather. Pre-employment screening applies.

Qualifications

• CDL with Hazmat & Tanker or willing to obtain it.
• Experience with gas systems or mechanical work preferred.
• Clean driving record.
• Able to lift 60+ lbs and work in all weather.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair propane systems and appliances which may include working underneath houses, crawlspaces, and confined spaces
• Set tanks, run lines, and perform leak checks
• Work with customers to solve issues and answer questions
• Stay safe and follow all codes and regulations
• Help with deliveries and yard work when needed
• Additional duties may be assigned by management as needed
