Job summary

AmeriGas Propane, Inc. is hiring a Service Technician for an onsite role in Ionia, MI. You will install and repair propane tanks, operate a service vehicle, and perform deliveries as needed while upholding safety and customer service standards.

The position requires a valid class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements, a clean driving record, and successful completion of a DOT physical and background check. You must be able to lift up to 70 lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Acceptable driving record
• DOT physical, drug test and background check
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs

Responsibilities

• Install and repair propane tanks for residential and commercial customers
• Safely operate a propane service vehicle with lift gate and boom
• Install new propane tanks/systems for commercial and residential customers
• Assist with delivery of propane as needed
• Adhere to all federal/state codes and AmeriGas safety policies
• Work 8 to 12 hour shifts as required
