Job summary

Campbell Oil Company is seeking a Propane Service Technician to safely install, maintain, and service propane systems for residential and small business customers. The role emphasizes safety, independence, and professional representation in the field.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CETP certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• 2+ years of propane service or gas installation experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical, troubleshooting, and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work outdoors in varying conditions.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair propane systems, tanks, regulators, piping, and appliances per NFPA 58/54.
• Perform leak checks, pressure tests, and safety inspections.
• Conduct tank set installations (above-ground/underground) with code compliance.
• Replace or adjust regulators, valves, and pigtails as needed.
• Service propane appliances such as water heaters and heating systems.
• Respond to out-of-gas, leak reports, and emergency calls promptly.
