Job summary

Sapp Bros. is hiring a Full Time Local Propane Service Technician for the Lincoln area. We will train you to be a tech, with good starting pay, monthly safety bonuses, full benefits, and PTO.

You will be home every night and may need a CDL or be willing to obtain one. As a Driver/Propane Service Technician, you’ll install and support fuel systems, perform propane line installations, and ensure safe, reliable service while gaining hands-on experience in a growing company.

Qualifications

• Required: Mechanically inclined
• Required: Flexible hours, including seasonal overtime
• Preferred: Class A or B CDL
• Preferred: Tanker and HazMat endorsement
• Preferred: CETP (Certified Employee Training Program – Propane) training
• Preferred: Prior experience with propane and/or HVAC
• Preferred: Prior experience with crane and rigging

Responsibilities

• Safely operate fuel trucks and deliver propane, diesel, and gasoline to customers
• Perform installations by running underground propane lines
• Set propane tanks and fuel tanks at designated customer locations
• Install and inspect regulators
• Set gas and diesel pumps at various customer sites
• Support service and installation projects as assigned
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
• Contribute to teamwork, safety, and excellent customer service
