Job summary

deBoer Propane seeks a Propane Gas Fitter based in Key West to service the Florida Keys from Key West to Key Largo. The role is full-time, hands-on with competitive sign-on bonuses, medical insurance, and steady year-round work.

The position requires a CDL (or willingness to obtain one), a valid Florida driver's license and a focus on safety, reliability, and excellent customer service while serving residential and commercial propane systems across the islands.

We're hiring a Propane Gas Fitter to join our growing team serving customers throughout the Florida Keys - from Key West to Key Largo. This is a full-time, hands-on position under our company license. We're looking for someone dependable, safety-minded, and great with customers. Job Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial propane systems
• Set propane tanks and run gas lines (above and underground)
• Perform leak testing and safety inspections
• Transport tanks and materials (CDL required or must be obtained)
• Deliver outstanding customer service on every job
• Work throughout the Lower and Upper Keys

Requirements

• Must have or be willing to obtain a CDL (Commercial Driver's License)
• Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Physically capable of hands-on outdoor work
• Reliable, safety-focused, and eager to learn

Preferred

• Experience in propane, plumbing, HVAC, or similar trades
• CETP certification or equivalent field experience
