Job summary

Paraco Gas Corporation is seeking a Utility Technician in Wurtsboro, NY. The role supports residential and commercial propane delivery, equipment installation and service, tank work, and boom/crane truck operation, with a strong emphasis on safety, reliability, and customer service.

You will safely deliver propane and cylinders, install and service tanks and appliances, perform diagnostics, and participate in a rotational on-call schedule, including weekends.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B with HazMat and Tanker endorsements.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant field experience.
• Safe driving record and DOT compliance.
• Ability to lift 50-75 lbs. and perform outdoor work.
• Proficiency with propane systems and piping.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver propane, motor fuel, and cylinders.
• Install, service, and remove propane tanks and appliances.
• Diagnose and repair propane systems and components.
• Operate Bobtail, boom/crane trucks, and related equipment.
• Complete vehicle inspections and safety procedures.
• Respond to no-heat and other emergency service calls.
