Job summary

Horizon Resources Cooperative in Williston, ND seeks a Propane Delivery Driver responsible for safely transporting LPG to residential, agricultural, commercial, and industrial customers. You will operate bobtail trucks with LPG pumping systems and perform pre- and post-trip inspections.

You will follow DOT hazardous materials regulations, monitor transfers, and use handheld terminals to log deliveries and inventory while delivering exceptional safety and service to customers.

Qualifications

• CDL with Hazmat, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements required for propane transport.
• Pass pre-employment screening, including DOT physical, drug test, and background check.
• Training in propane delivery procedures and LPG safety protocols.
• Understanding of propane properties and odorization.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bulk propane orders to residential, agricultural, commercial, and industrial LPG customers.
• Safely operate propane delivery vehicles and bobtail trucks with LPG pumping systems.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of propane delivery equipment, checking leaks and safety.
• Follow all DOT regulations for hazardous materials transport and propane procedures.
• Safely connect hoses, monitor transfer, and conduct leak checks for proper function.
• Use handheld terminals or delivery software to track deliveries, inventory, and payments.
• Interact professionally with customers, explain LPG safety procedures, and identify energy needs.
• Respond to propane emergencies or out-of-gas situations promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper operation of delivery vehicles and transfer equipment.
